PRODEX, which has been specializing in industrial and logistical fittings for over 70 years, recently completed an attractive project for the pharmacy at Rennes University Hospital. PRODEX in partnership with the ergonomist from the University Hospital, has designed and installed ergonomic workstations and protective measures around the global dispensing robot. This project highlights PRODEX’s expertise in industrial ergonomics and workplace safety.
Ergonomic and Adaptable Workstations
The new adjustable and ergonomic workstations consist of a roller conveyor and four tables equipped with shelves and storage. These have been specifically designed for the pharmacy operators. With multiple adjustment options, each operator can tailor their workstation to their specific needs, thereby reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and enhancing comfort and productivity.
Secure and Accessible Protections
PRODEX has also designed and installed mesh guards with sliding doors around the dispensing robot. To further enhance safety, wooden beam protections and metal barriers have been installed. These robust devices provide additional protection against shocks and impacts, ensuring the safety of both equipment and personnel.
Excellent Work from the PRODEX Design Office
The PRODEX design office closely collaborated with the ergonomist from the University Hospital to develop solutions perfectly suited to the pharmacy’s needs. Their technical expertise and attention to detail resulted in a functional and secure layout that meets the stringent requirements of the hospital environment. This achievement demonstrates PRODEX’s capability to provide customized solutions to improve working conditions and safety in industrial environments, regardless of the industry.
With this new project, PRODEX confirms its role as an expert in industrial layout. We thank the University Hospital of Rennes for their trust. To learn more about our industrial and logistics layout solutions, please contact us at contact@prodex-online.com.
